Hi everyone. Welcome to my "Design Journal". I'd like to start my first post with this incredible video, which was introduced to me by my brother, done for National Geographic Magazine's upcoming 7-part series examining specific challenges and solutions to the issues we face. The magazine introduces the series with its January cover story "7 Billion," offering a broad overview of demographic trends that got us to today and will impact us all tomorrow.

It looks to me that it was done in Adobe Flash but then again, who knows. But I'm pretty confident it was Flash. I would love to challenge myself and try to duplicate this video.

The execution is just phenomenal. The combination of the graphics, the motion of the graphics, the audio as well as the content sucks you in. I'd love to find out who created this incredible video and soon as I do I will post it. Wonder if the creator has other work. That would be interesting to see.
